Next week, July 13th, the 2010 Urban X Awards will be taking place on Tuesday July 13, 2010 at the 740 Club in Downtown Los Angeles. The buzz has been building for this event since the last awards ended. And with good reason, for since the end of the 2009 Urban X Awards the ethnic and voluptuous genres of the adult entertainment world have only continued to grow in demand and dominance. Add to that the fact that there is finally an award designed to recognize those who are responsible for that demand and dominance, and we find ourselves in a very lovely time in the industry. We find ourselves at a point in time where actresses, actors, directors, producers, and studios can finally see the love their fans and supporters have for them and their work. And because of that love a desire from those actresses, actors, directors, etc. to continue to produce and create better and better movies, scenes, and websites builds. And then we are just blessed with the genre and market continuing to grow and improve every year.

Along with that market/genre growth, the Urban X Award, continues to become more and more desired by those same individuals. Which in turn creates the huge buzz., and with that buzz the 2010 Urban X Awards is set to be the best one yet.

No other genre is this award having a greater impact on than the voluptuous adult genre. Which has for far too long has been unrecognized, but now is finally getting the respect and recognition that it so richly deserves. With superstars such as Pinky, DeCollector, Amber Swallows and newcomers such as Superstar XXX, Ms. Marshae, and Pink Kandi being noted for their great work - it only adds to the increasing popularity of the genre, helping to ensure that we continue to see more great work from these ladies. At the same time encouraging and motivating fresh new faces into the industry.

And in the end, that's what the 2010 Urban X Awards is all about. Motivating and encouraging the advancement of ethnic and voluptuous adult entertainment. Continuing to show and give honor to the best of the best in these genres. Forcing these genres to continue to raise the bar so that they can be where they belong, at the top of the adult industry with everyone else.

That's what these awards mean. On July 13th, the Urban X Awards will once again make history in adult entertainment.
